Automated Inspection

Our quality engineers and inspectors work closely with our tooling and development engineers to build quality in from the start. We then follow parts through every manufacturing process, including subcontract and outside specialty services, to assure that every aspect of the part is correct to your most demanding specifications. Using the Brown & Sharpe CMM with PC-DMIS Software we are able to program automated measurements of entire parts off the CAD solid models in DCC Mode. This advanced measurement technology improves accuracy and increases inspection capacity/thru-put while providing confident results.

OGP/Focus

State of the Art optical comparator for precise measurement and analysis of parts. Comparing the projected image to standard overlays reveals any inconsistencies and allows process corrections early in part development. Linked to sophisticated recording and measuring software this makes an unbeatable combination for assuring the highest quality in stamped parts.

With the addition of our LaserQC Laser Inspection System we are able to rapidly check features in the flat directly from CAD files. This instrument provides quick results and accurate measurements for metal stamping blanks..

Advanced CAD/CAM technology is used to develop improved designs, reduce costs, and provide more accurate tooling. We can use CAD drawings in almost any format.

We can use most CAD drawing formats when attached to email as binary file attachments including but not limited to: DWG, DXF, IGS, PDF files; Solid Works and KeyCreator .CKD files. Solid models are preferred in STEP format - Prints are best in DXF. Pro-E files should be converted to STEP (for solid model) or DXF (for Prints).
